spay-neuterThe Oklahoma City Metro area has MANY options for low-cost or FREE  spay and neuter services. Below are a couple options for low to no cost spay and neuter clinics.

Did you know that approximately 75-100 animals a day, 7 days a week lose their lives due to the overpopulation problem in the OKC metro area alone!!

Be responsible! Don’t contribute to more senseless killing of unwanted pets!!!!

Best Friends of Pets Spay Neuter Program
Best Friends of Pets’ Spay/Neuter Assistance Program (SNAP) makes spaying and neutering affordable for many pet owners in the Oklahoma City area and provides Low-Income and General Public assistance. Stray/Feral Cats Options!!!

Do You Feed the Stray Cats? Is the Momma cat always bringing up babies? More and More cats keep showing up?

You may want to know why the cats can’t just be trapped and hauled off to never return. If that is done more cats will come into the area. Cats are territorial by fixing them and putting them back you will have fixed stray cats in your area. By removing them you create a constant open door to new ones.

But there are solutions, Oklahoma City has a TNR (Trap Neuter Return) Program!!! What’s that??? It’s great news!! It means you can have the cats spayed or neutered and rabies shot for next to nothing, if not free depending on the funding of the program at the time. It’s a lot cheaper than feeding all the offspring!!!
